I overheard some of my JW family make statements about Catholic priest like all of them are guilty, and sick, Priest are men, not above sin, but at least the church doesn't place gag orders, or hire a bunch of lawyers to reproch on the ORG's name, look at the big issue just recently with Jesus Cano, a freaking bethel elder, and what it was all kept under the rug. Where are those families? what about the case being made public in court. There are sick, sinful people in every organization all over the world, not just catholic's and not just JW's but one religion making themselves superior over another is just plain petty.

Use Catholic Abuse Settle to Attack JWs re:KN #37 & JW Abuse Cases
by Seeker4 ini was thinking earlier of how the recent mega-million dollar catholic settlement in la is an ideal opportunity, in letters to the editor in local newspapers, to highlight the hypocrisy of the witnesses in how they have handled similar abuse cases.
a couple of points that might be useful to make this applicable anywhere: .
1. in the kingdom news #37 tract distributed around the country last fall.

* For 16 continuous months she was in action in the forward areas of the Pacific combat zone, sometimes within 40 miles of the Japanese home islands. * Under air attack 59 times, she was never hit. * Her aircraft destroyed 1410 Japanese aircraft, only ESSEX exceeded this record. * Her air groups destroyed or damaged 1,269,710 tons of enemy shipping. * 10 HORNET pilots attained "Ace in a Day" status. * 30 of 42 VF-2 Hellcat pilots were aces. * 72 enemy aircraft shot down in one day. * 255 aircraft shot down in a month. * Supported nearly every Pacific amphibious landing after March 1944. * Scored the critical first hits in sinking the super battleship YAMATO. * In 1945 launched the first strikes against Tokyo since the 1942 Doolittle Raid. I found this on the Hornet Website!!! WOW

Segregation in the Kingdumb Hall
by Wordly Andre indoes any older members here remember this?
the org having 2 congs for whites and blacks, i think they said it was for the protection for the black jw's?

WTWizard, Yes its true that in some segregated cities and states that blacks and white had seperate doors etc. however when did the ORG ever really follow Cesars law? oh but this one was ok right? I came across this in looking up some information on Catholic history in Boston, they didn't have segregation in the church which helped fuel hate torwards the church back in 1790's, white were shocked that the catholic's allowed black in the church with white folks. Now isn't it interesting that JW's allowed whites and black to serve god together sometime in the 1960's.
